Christmas Greetings!

'Everything was created through Him; nothing - not one thing - came into being without him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by.  The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; and the darkness could not put it out!!'  (John Ch 1 v5 - The Message)

MERRY CHRISTMAS - HAPPY NEW YEAR

We are now back home and surrounded by the preparations for Christmas.

Angels fly through London......

Morden Lane is ablaze.......

A shepherd prepares for his journey to see the baby Jesus    (Our great-nephew ❤️️)
The evening sky lights our way through Bushy Park....
The Christdingle reminds us God made the world, the good things He has given us, forgiveness through Jesus' blood,  the Light shines in the darkness.
Happy memories of Christmas Day last year in Lodi Gardens, Delhi. (We miss you all...x)
This year we are choosing the candy cane of 'Simplicity' (one of Asha's values) as the focus for our Christmas time.
We send you love and best wishes and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

'Sound of Silence....' 🎶 - it's so so quiet!!!

Hello from chilly London!

We arrived back on Tuesday evening - felt very strange/exciting to be leaving Delhi and heading for 'home' - mixed emotions, but we know this is good timing and we need to see family and friends here again!

Thank you for all your 'welcome home' messages!

We have been reestablishing ourselves in the house - sorting out a 'slipped' roof tile, getting cars on the road again and finding all our winter woolies and odds and ends etc in the loft - (taken most to charity shops as travelling with two bags for 14 months has made us much more minimalistic - (wonder how long that will last!!! 😜).

The 'essential' advent reindeer is up, tree decorations located in the garage, thoughts of popping into Smsp for nativity plays, carol services and most importantly, welcoming family and friends and neighbours at Christmas are all keeping us busy, but our friends in Delhi are always in our thoughts and prayers - they are also 'family' and just 10 hours away!!

A Christmas/New Year blog will probably be our last in a couple of weeks.

Love

Heather and Ken xx

Bags packed - bye bye Delhi

Welcome to Heathrow!!

A lovely surprise from Heather's sister, Rose - thank you!

The reindeer are up and choccies waiting to be eaten.....

Jesus, born in a stable..... a refugee family ..... the 'HOPE' of the world. (Asha means 'hope' in Hindi)
