Bye bye Sri Lanka and hello Delhi....

An overnight train journey from Batticaloa to Colombo (not without incident, as I managed to fall out of the top bunk in our little compartment and land on my head!! - I think Ken was more shocked than me, but Praise God, nothing broken - a bit of a sore head tho!!), and we arrived in Colombo in the early morning. We had to collect our passports and now have a new Indian visa for 6 months! Hooray!!

We fly to Delhi on Monday 4th July, so with a few days spare, headed off to Negombo by bus to explore a new area and to enjoy the ocean, beach and friendliness of the Sri Lankan people.
