Thank you, Ayesha and everyone at Bhikaji, for a lovely welcome and delicious ‘poppy seed curry’ lunch (now nicknamed ‘opium curry’

We've been getting ourselves sorted in our flat, bags unpacked, timetables arranged, resources made and some essential spice shopping from the amazingly chaotic Chandi Chowk spice market - now to make the curries!!
Last Saturday, we had a lovely chance to meet up with Steve Notman on his last night in
Delhi - a quick visit to Dilli Haat market was essential for those last few things he needed to buy (Heather was particularly pleased to be there again and Ken enjoyed the Momos!!).
We start next week with classes in communities all over Delhi (lots of travelling!!).
Ken will be teaching high school students in two communities and also evening students at the flat and Heather will be working mornings with mums, babies and preschool children and afternoons with 4-16’s in 5 different communities.
Today the unimaginable has happened!! It's RAINING… all day and probably tomorrow too! Very refreshing after days of high temperatures and stickiness - all windows and doors are open and there is a breeze!!
